Species in Wales

Use our interactive map below to find out where the best places are to see dragonflies.

Use the map key to select hotspots, top sites, or both.

Hotspots are special places where we are working with land managers to enhance their sites for dragonflies and visitors. These sites host events and volunteering opportunities, as well as great dragonfly watching opportunities.

Top sites are public sites identified as having large dragonfly populations, having a high number of species, or for having important populations of rarer species.
