Join Bannau Brycheiniog National Park Authority, Biodiversity Information Service for Powys & Brecon Beacons National Park and BDS, as we celebrate the dragonflies of Llangorse Lake.
Crafts, information stand and pond dipping will run throughout the day.
The guided walk will run from 10am till 2pm and booking is essential, click here to book your place. The walk will be led by Breconshire recorder Keith Noble. Discover what inhabits the lake, how to watch and identify dragonflies and how to record them. We will walk the Lake Trail from Lakeside to Llangasty and back, (about 3 miles), looking for a range of dragonfly species, which might include Hairy Dragonfly, Variable and Red-eyed Damselflies. We will stop for lunch (bring your own) en-route.
