British Dragonfly Society Strategy 2022-2026

It is thanks to all our supporters, volunteers, trustees and staff that fed into the creation of our strategy that we have an excellent framework to achieve our aims of conserving dragonflies and their wetland habitats. The strategy includes addressing the conservation issues identified in the State of Dragonflies Report, expanding our Dragonfly Hotspots programme and growing our network of volunteers. These aims and more have been incorporated into an exciting and very full work programme which will deliver our Strategy over the coming years.

Communication Strategy 2024-2026

Our Communication Strategy complements and aids in the delivery of our core strategy. This was created from current engagement data and the experiences of staff, trustees and volunteers. The strategy helps to define our communication messaging, objectives, and methods, as well as highlighting the audiences we want to reach. The strategy will focus our communications to better help us share our passion for dragonflies and create positive action for their conservation.
