Felmersham Gravel Pits
This rich mosaic of woodland, grassland and idyllic lakes is one of the best places for dragonflies in Bedfordshire. At least 18 species breed here and more visit via the nearby river Great Ouse. Species to look for in the summer include hairy dragonfly, white-legged, red-eyed and azure damselflies.
