Cors Erddreiniog National Nature Reserve

The reserve is designated as a SSSI and also, along with other areas, a SAC and Ramsar site.  The main habitat is fens but there is also heathland, woodland and small lakes.  The fen is the largest of three fens found on Anglesey.  The reserve is great for dragonflies with 21 species recorded including the rare and protected Southern Damselfly. It also has nationally scarce Scarce Blue-tailed Damselfly and locally scarce Variable Damselfly, Keeled Skimmer and Black Darter.
