WWT Llanelli Wetland Centre (Carmarthenshire)
This is a man made wetland on former low grade agricultural land. It is designated as a SSSI, SPA and Ramsar site and is adjacent to the Loughour Estuary. It has a series of ponds, lagoons, streams and saltmarshes. There have been 21 species of dragonfly seen on the reserve.
There are excellent facilities including a car park, visitor centre, cafe and toilets. There is an entry fee for the reserve which is open from 9.30 until 17.00 daily except 24th and 25th December. There are paths that are accessible for wheelchair users and pushchairs. The centre is well signed with brown and white duck signs from Llanelli.
