Loch Ardinning (East Dunbartonshire)
Loch Ardinning is a picturesque, visitor-friendly wildlife haven with areas of wetland, woodland, grassland and moorland. Mature willow, birch and alder thrive in the wetlands along the south west shore and reeds, rushes and sedges fringe the northern shores.
Scottish Wildlife Trust
This reserve lies 1 mile south of Strathblane on the A81 (the Glasgow to Aberfoyle road).
Both parking areas are just off the main road. There is a circular route suitable for all-abilities path; it is approx 1.5km long which runs from both parking areas and partly along the loch.
