Crymlyn Bog and Pant-y-Sais Fen National Nature Reserve
These sites are next to each other and both form the National Nature Reserve. The reserves are also a Ramsar site, SAC and SSSI. The sites are home to a host of plants and animals including many dragonflies and damselflies. High-lights are hairy dragonfly, variable damselfly, scarce blue-tailed damselfly, ruddy darter, keeled skimmer, black darter they are also home to the fen raft spider. Crymlyn Bog is the most extensive lowland fen in Wales.
