Can Dragonflies Benefit from the Introduction of Beavers?

Ian and Elaine Burnell, County Dragonfly Recorders for North Northumberland have been conducting dragonfly surveys in the beaver enclosure at Wallington National Trust Estate. Beavers were only introduced in 2023; in the two years since, the Burnells have seen birds, amphibians and insects flourish within the site. Read their full article below.
