River Wye, Capler Hill

The River Wye just south of Fownhope village near Capler Hill is a great place to see Common Clubtail and White-legged Damselflies.

Public footpaths run along the river bank from Fownhope (from Capler Lane, opposite Ringfield Drive, SO58043411) down to a picnic site south of Brinkley Hill (east of Hoarwithy, SO58443128).

A small car park is available at the picnic site and road side parking is available in Fownhope.
