Support From British Dragonfly Society Volunteers

The British Dragonfly Society has volunteers across the country eager to get stuck in with recording, habitat management, and engagement activities. If you need volunteer support for a dragonfly-related project, get in touch, and we will put a call out to potential candidates.

You will need to let us know:

  • the project/activity name and details
  • the location
  • experience required
  • an email/phone number for interested volunteers to contact

Planning And Development

Get in touch if you know of a planning application/plan that could negatively affect a valuable Dragonfly site. Please be aware that the British Dragonfly Society will only become involved in the opposition of an application if there is evidence that a Priority Site could be negatively affected.

Fundraising

Unfortunately, the British Dragonfly Society cannot provide grants for projects or volunteer activities. However, we are able to provide letters of support for grant applications if the projects will benefit dragonflies.
