We rely on donated photos to produce identification training materials and other outreach resources. If you would like to see your photos featured in BDS communications please contact our Engagement Officer.

We are always on the lookout for interesting stories and research to include in our communications, which includes the BDS members’ magazine, social media and e-newsletter.

Want to share your enjoyment of the outdoors and dragonfly knowledge with others? Join our field meeting team who run walks across the country at top dragonflies, as advertised in our events section.

Trainers and Speakers
Throughout the year we receive requests for dragonfly identification and recording training courses and presentations. As a small organisation, we rely on experienced recorders to act as teachers, helping train new surveyors and spreading awareness about British dragonflies.
