Step aboard for a special 50-minute journey along Wicken Lode, exploring the Fen at a slower pace in search of it’s fascinating dragonflies and damselflies.

Join a dragonfly expert aboard an open-topped, electric-powered boat for a unique opportunity to discover some of the Fen’s most captivating wildlife. Unlike usual boat trips, this special experience will take a slower route along the Wicken Lode, pausing at secluded spots where you can stop and look for dragonflies and damselflies.

Your expert guide will help you discover the differences between dragonflies and damselflies, share tips on how to identify them in the wild and tell you more about the species that call Wicken Fen home. There will also be plenty of opportunities to ask questions and share your own sightings as you explore this special wetland landscape.

Please note that, as with all wildlife experiences, sightings cannot be guaranteed.
