Join us for a tour of Wildwood, in deepest Surrey.

18 of the 33 ponds are suitable for viewing odonata, including Willow Emerald Damselfly Chalcolestes viridis & Small Red-eyed Damselfly. Joint trip with Butterfly Conservation Surrey Branch.

Requirements: Boots, lunch, close-focusing binoculars. Booking is not required. If bad weather postponement will be posted on BC Surrey branch website.
Additional Info: The golf course was abandoned in 2017 and is reverting to woodland with ponds.
Meet: 11:00, 10 miles SE of Guildford at GU6 8JR, TQ 0481 3606. From A281 Horsham Rd, turn east into Wildwood Lane (note signpost for Cranleigh Rugby Club); after 500y (passing Rugby Club on left), turn right into the parking area.
