Join us in celebrating Dragonflies in this annual, national event. Dragonfly Week starts on the third Saturday in July and runs until the following Sunday every year. Our aim is to celebrate these iconic insects and to give the nation a chance to get to know and love them as much as we do.
We don’t mind how you celebrate, it is totally up to you. All we ask is that you let us know so that we can share your event with other Dragonfly fans. Send your event details to Fiona and help us to make Dragonfly Week 2020 the biggest and best so far!
Register your event with us so that we can help to spread the word to all Dragonfly fans.
The British Dragonfly Society are not responsible for any externally organised events and cannot provide insurance or help to organise publicly attended events. We can provide information on Dragonflies and help to advertise events only.
There are several ways to report a Dragonfly sighting:
Report a casual sighting or visit to a site, for the benefit of others who might wish to know what’s flying at the moment. These sightings are not vetted and are not automatically treated as scientific records.
