Join us in celebrating Dragonflies in this annual, national event. Dragonfly Week starts on the third Saturday in July and runs until the following Sunday every year. Our aim is to celebrate these iconic insects and to give the nation a chance to get to know and love them as much as we do.
We don’t mind how you celebrate, it is totally up to you. We will only be celebrating online this year due to the pandemic. Please do join in and tag us in on social media though, we love seeing your posts. Check out our free resources on our Dragonfly Week page here.
There are several ways to report a Dragonfly sighting:
Report a casual sighting or visit to a site, for the benefit of others who might wish to know what’s flying at the moment. These sightings are not vetted and are not automatically treated as scientific records.
