Whisby Nature Park is the only Dragonfly Hotspot in Lincolnshire and is currently home to over 20 regular species. Our wardens, Grahame Hopwood and Emily Summerlin, are leading a walk around the reserve to identify and observe dragonflies and damselflies in their own environment.

Starting in the classroom at Whisby Education Centre with some identification hints and tips on what to look out for, the majority of the afternoon will be spent walking round the reserve visiting the top dragonfly and damselfly spots.

Suitable for beginners and those with some identification skills. Adults only.

Parking available in visitor car park, parking charges apply. Refreshments are included and are available throughout the workshop, but you will need to bring your own lunch (or money for lunch at the Natural World Centre).
