Join us in this event to celebrate the one year anniversary of Whisby Nature Reserve becoming a Dragonfly Hotspot!

There will be an information stand and craft activities in the education barn all day. There will also be a FREE guided walk at 10.00am led by Assistant Warden, Emily Summerlin, this is a leisurely walk of about 1.5 miles around Coot Lake and over the railway bridge to Railway Pond, a hotspot for dragonfly activity on a sunny day. As we walk around, Emily will tell us about the different species that are at Whisby and how habitat management benefits them.

The walk is on flat level ground, although we will be going over the railway which has ramp access.

Please bring binoculars if you have them.

Meet outside the Warden’s Office, What3Word: ///clasping.fizzle.cunning
