A guided walk at the Great Fen to discover the wonderful wildlife.
Woodwalton Fen National Nature Reserve is one of the jewels in the crown of the Great Fen, so why not join Monitoring and Research Officer, Henry Stanier, as he goes in search of the jewels of the air, the dragonflies and damselflies. Henry will use his dragonfly knowledge and expertise, gained over the last 30 years, to help you learn the basics of identifying these amazing insects and will also reveal a few fascinating insights into their lives along the way. These leisurely, guided walks will run in the morning and afternoon, taking full advantage of the diversity of this fantastic reserve. Your small group will also enjoy a tour of historic Rothschild Bungalow.
There are several ways to report a Dragonfly sighting:
Report a casual sighting or visit to a site, for the benefit of others who might wish to know what’s flying at the moment. These sightings are not vetted and are not automatically treated as scientific records.
