This is a rare opportunity for members of the public to access Chartley Moss National Nature Reserve to see its unique landscape and wildlife, including the rare White-faced Darter dragonfly.
There will be a morning (10:30) and afternoon (14:00) walk; please check you have the right time when you book your ticket.

- Booking required. We ask for a £5 cash donation per person (children are free). Please bring it with you on the day.

- The ground underfoot is unsteady and wet so please bring appropriate footwear, as well as outdoor clothing and any supplies you might need (such as water, food and sun cream).
- Meeting point: Grid Ref SK 022289 The meeting point is on A518 Stafford to Uttoxeter road, 4 miles west of Uttoxeter and 7 miles east of Stafford. Approaching from the Stafford direction, please park on the wide grassy road verge 1 mile beyond Chartley castle. Approaching from Uttoxeter the meeting point is 0.3 miles past the timber yard/ former filling station. A useful landmark at the meeting point is a tarmac farm drive with green iron gateposts and a number of copper beech trees. Please be extremely careful when parking, this is a very fast and dangerous stretch of road.
