Bramshill Plantation, Thatchers Ford (Blackwater/Whitewater confluence)
Investigate old records of White-legged Damselfly at Thatcher’s Ford; look for various species on the forest rides and ponds at Bramshill Plantation.
Boots or wellies, close-focussing binoculars, lunch (and something to carry it in as we will not be returning to the cars for lunch).
Please book in advance (by text or email to ) as parking at Bramshill is limited.
We will be walking some distance (c. 4 miles) so walking boots are recommended.
*** Note *** This will be a one-way walk; we will be car-sharing/getting a lift from the main car park to Thatcher’s Ford (as there is minimal parking at the ford), and walking back through Bramshill Plantation to the cars.
At 10:30 am at the Bramshill Plantation main car park (SU 7603 6133, on north side of Bramshill Road).
