    The British Dragonfly Society (BDS) have teamed up with craft beer design specialists ‘From the Notebook Limited’ (FTN) to launch their first Dragonfly beer, Golden-ringed Dragonfly Golden Ale, with royalties from sales helping the work of BDS.

    The British Dragonfly Society’s annual Dragonfly Day is on Sunday 6th July at Wicken Fen, home of the Dragonfly Centre.

    A new atlas of the dragonflies of Britain and Ireland is published today. The atlas is the result of a five year research project by the British Dragonfly Society (BDS) which builds on data collected over the last two centuries.

    For the fourth year in a row, the BDS are looking forward to Gardening Scotland. Gardening Scotland is at the Royal Highland Centre next to Edinburgh airport from Friday 30th May to Sunday 1st June. Come and say hello, our stand is in the ‘Living Gardens’ section.

    We're  pleased to announce that arrangements for the venue of this year's BDS Members' Day, on Saturday 15th November, have now been finalised. We will be holding the meeting at the WWT London Wetland Centre, Barnes, SW13 9WT. This is a marvellous site bringing the countryside to London.
